A brief review of Car Show Mk4 - our annual car show raising funds for 1st Lutterworth Scouts.
With less than 48 hours to go, and around 60 vehicles booked in, all we need now is for the rain to stay away!
The bacon is ready, raffle tickets are already selling well and there’s a box full of prizes waiting to be won. Treasure hunt clues have been set, and the face painter and bouncy castle will be arriving on Saturday morning for our younger visitors to enjoy.
With just a week to go, preparations are well underway for Car Show Mk2 and it is looking like being another great day.
On Saturday 6th September we opened the doors for a morning of classic cars and bacon butties! Turnpike Close was filled with 39 vintage and unique vehicles from around the local area. The oldest on display was a 1934 Standard 12, the newest a 2012 Chevrolet Camaro 2SS (AKA Bumblebee to Transformers fans).

She certainly drew a lot of attention from passers by.
